i went into the gym once in Tokyo and saw all these old ladies bouncing up and down in their arobics class. The music playing was some gangsta rap going on about anal rape and using the word that describes a female dog.

Went into Burger King yesterday and it was the the same kind of music playing and no one seemed to mind. Made me a nervous wreck, though and I left quickly.

None of them had a clue what they were listening to.

that's sorta like Spoland.

I haven't been in awhile so I've missed that, but that sounds about right.

Actually, I was so shocked to hear a (Russian) song that I recognized that I went and talked with the DJ after my workout. He showed me his collection he had with him and mentioned that his intention was to play "world music" as he felt the average young Korean could do with a bit of wider listening variety.

haha, actually I don't know, but it's strange there, sometimes they've got some really good music playing (mostly DJ nights), well, nice for working out anyway and other nights, jeez, I want to scream ("There she was justa walkin' down the street singin' do-a-diddy-diddy-dum...." aaarrggghh! Crying or Very sad ).
