We alwas stay at the Westin Chosun when we are in Seoul. The club rooms are great, and the location is good. There are alot of packages offered for Korean residents, but they are not on the hotel homepage in english.
To get the best offers, you need to check out the hotel homepage in Korean. We got an Executive Suite, with breakfast, clubroom access, CD, bunch of hotel flowers (50000W), wine, chocolates etc at the end of Feb this year for 250000W plus tax and service charge.
In Busan, the Westin Chosun Beach is a great spot, now that they have finished the renovations- Beach views start at about 180000 a night.
We can't wait to try out W on our next trip up to Seoul. |

Nobody's mentioned the real plus of the Walker Hill...
CASINO!
Went there this weekend. Slick attendents everywhere. Felt outta place in my khaki shorts and golf shirt, but they still seemed more than happy to take my money at the tables. |
I heard they have good Pizza somewhere there in Walker Hill. Is that true? |
This is indeed true, or at least was the last time I went a couple of years back. If you come out of the main reception area out the front door, I believe it's on a road going up the hill over to your right. Anyway, ask at reception. It was called 'Pizza on the Hill' or something, and is a wonderful restaurant with a great view and really good pizza. A bit pricey for pizza, but a really good place to go for a special night. |

Don't go to the Grand Hyatt in Itaewon, overrated and overpriced you pay through the nose for a view of the river. One night cost us 300,000 for a so-so room (tiny bathroom and a tiny tub) then there was the food. You need reservations for every resturant and if you don't God help you. The Sunday brunch was excellent but not worth the 60,000 won/person
look south of the river for something |
