A few? It might be cheaper to replace your electronics. . Laptop computers generally just need a little inexpensive thing that changes the American style plug into a Korean one.
For anything else you'll need a current converter and those are biggish, heavy and run around 15,000-20,000 each, I'm not even sure if you can plug two things into one of them at a time. On the upside, you should be able to go to any hardware store, ask for a "trans" and they'll help you out. |

thanks for the tips. i'll check out some hardware stores this weekend. i think anything that states 100-240w or v (i can't remember what it says) can easily use the little converter. i have one and it has worked for everythng i have except the dvd player which has the different sized prongs and a dvd burner that has a three prong plug. |

What do you ask for if you want to buy the little plug for a laptop?
And where would one generally find said plug? |

I have never seen a three-prong to two-prong adapter. Only two-prong "western" to two-prong "Korean".
Peppermint is correct If you must go three-prong, the "Do-ran-seu" (transformer, or converter) is the only way to go. The price is actually quite reasonable. In Canada, i was looking for a 110v to 220v converter, and we were looking at around $200. |

See if you can't just buy new cables for some of your things. For example I have an electric razor. I pull out the western cable/plug and pop in a korean cable/plug. Most computer hardware you should be able to buy a local cable/plug for it. |

Where the gear is multi-voltage the simplest solution is to cut off the American type and fit the international type, which are available earthed and non-earthed. |
