My tip to you is just chill out and have some adventure. The best times you can have are the most spontaneous ones. This ain't India or Iran, on the whole people will be nice and it will be all good. |

My soju story:
When I first got here and still couldn't read I bought a big liter and a half bottle of 'water' at the corner store and tried to make tea with it. Spit it out on the kitchen floor. Poured the rest down the drain. 
My Korean co-teachers laughed at me when I took the empty bottle in to work to ask what it was. Then one of them taught me to read 'soju' and 'mool'. |
