Hi Everyone,

I'm off to Busan at the end of the month(as it's only an hour away from my city). I'm wondering, where's a good place to meet agreeable women(Korean or waeguks) for a good night? I'm not talking about cheesy bars where the women want you to by them drinks for 10,000-20,000w a glass. I've recently lost a shedload of wait(33 lbs) and I'm feeling confident enough to try my luck.

Any nice student bars where the girls are friendly? Or would I be better going to Daegu? I like the attraction of these cities as I only have to travel 1 hour instead of the 5 hours to Seoul.

I just want to meet some nice girls who aren't of the 'true love waits' variety, is that too much to ask in this overly-conservative country?

Try the bars around PNU (Crossroads etc) as well as those around Kyung-sung University (the Underground). Loads of action in busan. Should have no problem enjoying yourself (especially with the Korean girls).

PNU is "okay". If you want the dirtiest of the dirty, check out Hollywood Star in Seomyun and Foxy in Kyung Sung Deh. You could go to those places in a wheelchair and still get laid.

Hang out around Haeundae. Up and down the beach. Lots of pockets of girls, in a non-cheesy bar setting. Just having fun, drinking on the beach with friends. Lots of them speak english or half-bad english and are easy to socialize with, if you are a first-move type.

forget Daegu! too conservative here!

after 1am downtown there will be more guys than girls.whats left over are mainly skanks or road kill!

Pusan is much better! velvet undeground try there!
