Yes, I want to leave this dead life behind............
His boss said to him, boy you'd better begin to get those crazy notions right out of your head.
Sammy boy, don't you know who you are? You should be sweeping up the Emerald bar. |

| If you are still itchy, try soaking in a bath tub with baking soda, should help....sorry if you don't have a bathtub |

| The spray that you want to get is called Frissen or Frissey or Frissit, something like that. It looks like a regular spray bottle you'd see Windex or something in, and is blue and pink. Usually you buy both of them for 6000. Buy that and spray your bed, wash the sheets, spray it with that too, and make sure you wash everything every week. I've been bitten by invisible insects before and it was very little fun. |

Thanks for your advice. I'll be looking for the Frissit stuff.
I saw a doctor, they just gave me allergy medicine.
I ordered some stuff through the mail as well, it will probably get here before too long........ I hope.
I've been eating garlic at night, and it seems to help, also I can't cover up at all. Raising the body temperature really makes things start happening.
So it means staying cool at night and cold showers all the time. |

Don't know if you have cable, but I keep seeing adverts for beds that stop these "bugs."
My students told me everyone in Korea has issues with bed bugs which cannot be seen(dust mites)??? I don't know...but they recommended that spray that starts with an F. It does come in a small bottle, you can get pink, blue, or green. It is made by P & G, and I am 99% sure it is Febreze.
But in N. America, isn't it just a freshener?? On the spray bottle it does have pics of some bugs(I think), but also shows that you should spray it on any fabric. Who knows, but we tried it last night, and also bought another can by 119, it had a big bug on it, hope it isn't RAID or something else.....I hate not being able to read Korean. |

You say that water triggers it....hot water perhaps. In my opinion this rules out any "bug" stuff. You would have rashes even if they are micrscopic. This is allergy stuff. I'm allergic to a few things. If I take a hot shower or bath the itches get way worse. If you have hives...they say stay away from hot water!
Also, there is a little specualtion on the differences between "Hard" and "Soft" water in different countries. The water change was really hard on my skin when I first got here but I adjusted. It cracked and was itchy.
There is my two cents....hope it goes away soon.. |

I've got a suggestion!!!!!
When i first came here I had the major itches as well.
Figured out I was allergic to the cheap ass washing powder after I switched to the most expensive stuff I could find on the hunch that my itching was due to the shitty washing powder.
Worked like a charm, the rashes just dissapeared in a few days and now I am loyal to that brand. I think it is LG Bio in a blie bag. |

Again, thanks for the suggestions. The allergy medication seems to help, but as son as it runs out, the itch is back. Cold showers help, as does using an anti mould sulfur soap that I got from the dermitolists clinic.
One of my students got me a small "mite pad" thingy that is supposed to attract and kill the mites in my bed.
I don't know if it really does anything, smells kind of mediciny though.
I can't get a doctor to actually test for mites, so until that is done, it's pretty unclear what I should be doing. |

I'm interested to know whereabouts you live. I recently moved out of Anyang where I suffered very similar symptoms to yours after each shower... just before going to bed almost unbearable. Now in Suwon it's sweet as a nut, no problems.
Dr. Squids diagnosis: Murky water disease.
Treatment: Move house. |

That was my original assessment of the situation. I still think that is what the problem is, although I can't say for sure, because I can't find a doctor who will actually do some tests. Arghhhhhhhhhhhhh!
I live in Gim Hae, near Busan by the way.

| I got scabies from a lap dance one time. It was really awful and it got worse with sweat or heat. The doc figured it out right away. I always laugh when I think about it. I got a STD without the sex. |
