I read an article a month or so ago about a place downtown that sells the dark stuff for something like 4,000 -7,000. Does anyone know/recall name/location? Thanks! -Tembo |

There was an Irish pub in Jogno, but it is now gone.
Check out 3 Alley Pub in Itaewon; Guinness there will cost you KW 7,000. |

My Goodness My Guiness...
alas that I should be separated from my favorite brew... what times are these? I was on a trip down in Busan staying at the Grand Hotel with some friends, and I splurged and bought myself (and one friend) a 50,000 pitcher of Guiness. I figured what the hell, and I had been separated from my friend (and my buddy as well) for nigh on five months.
In a side note, that actually contributed to my spending half a day's paycheck on one pitcher of beer, the previous night I ate at the Bennigans in Hayundae. Despite numerous wall decorations that said such things as "My Goodness My Guiness" and even "Guiness Draught served here", there was none to be found. It even had a little picture of a Guiness ad on the menu! |

Check Dublin at Kangnam Station. I think it is on sale for 6500. |

That'll get you a half-pint though... think it's at least 12,000 for a reasonably sized glass of the stuff which is scandalous.
The taste is nothing compared to the real stuff in Ireland though... |

It's pretty much accepted that the best Guinness in Seoul is at the 3 alleys in Itaewon. It can be patchy even there. It depends on who pours it. 8500 won. |

I've ordered it there 3, or 4 times and each time it's pretty good and only KW 7,000. |
