Well folks,

Trad / folk music session this Sunday 12th September, Soho Bar from about 7pm onwards. Thanks to John Powderly for dropping in last time on his way through Seoul - great music, great craic.

In case any of you are interested, the All Ireland hurling final (Cork v. Kilkenny) will be shown in Hollywood Grill later that night (11.30pm).

Adh Mor. See you Sunday.

Directions:
Get out at Itaewon Station on the #6 line. Take Exit #3. Walk straight - heading east - (past the police station / clothes shops) until you get to the next intersection with the fire station. Turn right up the hill - going south. Take the second street on the left (just past Kings Club). Head up the hill - you will see a sign for SOHO on the right.

Went along to the session and thoroughly enjoyed it. Just wanted to give those who participated a wrap. Some of those vocals made the hair on the back of my neck stand up.

Just wanted to give a little plug for their next session as well. Apparently the guys are having another trad session on Saturday 18th at the Woodstock bar. It's 5,000 in but it is a benefit for the Red Cross. So if you love live music and want to check out some seriously talented musicians whilst helping a good cause head along.

Also then went along to watch the hurling final after at Hollywood. Great fun and mad times that contributed to a "colouring" day at school today. Congrats to Cork.

I can't believe I missed that.
I brought my little rosewood recorder to Korea, but I left my pennywhistles at home.

I'll have to keep a closer eye out. thanks for posting that, though. Sounds great.

A great time, indeed! Actually, the benefit is going to happen on Sunday the 19th. At least, that's what I was told. Cheers!

Tonight's going to be a craiking time between the Woodstock SAN and the IAK Irish music at the Soho. See you there!
