I think it's about time we revived the old Seoul vs. Pusan arguement.

I like Pusan better.

Just because

That sounds like every discussion I have with my sixth graders. Laughing

Anyway, Seoul is better.

Because I said so.

You know you're in Korea when every meal, three times a day, every day, is spicy, or includes spicy dishes. (As much as I like spicy food, it gets to be a bit much after a while.)

you wake up to the sound of an ajossi selling vegetables at 6:00 a.m.

a very old halmoni wrings your doorbell with a huge basin of fish balanced on her head (yes this happens to me at least once a week)

your female friend grabs your boob and no one cares

you touch someone's baby or small child on the cheek and you don't get arrested

you are sitting in naked in a bathtub with a bunch of other naked people and you're not involved in porn

you're sitting on the floor of a restaurant and yelling yogiyo at the top of your lungs and no one seems to mind (try this one in your home country)

there's a guy with a huge goiter sticking out his neck next to you but everyone is staring at you, not him. (yes, this did happen once, although it wasn't Seoul)

you're in the seaweed section of E-Mart

When you have to pull your dog away from a vomit pile lying in the street at least once a day.

When people are constantly jumping out of the way to avoid a dachshund.

When you order pizza you get sweet pickles.

You see no women smoking on the street, but the ladies room is constantly filled with the billows of cigarettes.

Its 10 o'clock (any day of the week) and businessmen fill the streets drunk and falling down.

When a street brawl simply consists of slapping and a whole lot of yelling.

yes, exactly about the dog walking -- the vomit and the people (even grown men) afraid of cute little poodles (and daschunds, apparently!)
