I have an F2-1 visia with an E7 addition.
When I had just a plain old E2 I took on a second job legally by getting a letter from both (then) present and prospective employers and then got the necessary permission from immigration. No problemo.
My question is this. With the F2-1, do I need the permission from my present employer, or, can I just add new ones without bothering to inform them - i.e. just present immigration with a copy of the contract from my new employer? |

I added a second working permission on my F-2 without needing to get any documents from my first employer and there was no hassle doing that. Just turned up with the contract, filled in the appropriate form and it was all processed easily. |

| That's what I guessed it should be - otherwise - what's the point of the F2? Good. |
