Well the OP was there and knows the director in question. He knows which room he's supposed to keep clean. It's useless for you and I to keep arguing about it, so I'm done now. You can keep on, if you like.

I just happened to think that the person who knows the director probably knows if he's dealing with a jerk or not. The assumption I made was that this guy doesn't have any reason to pretend that his director is a jerk if he's not.

But whatever.

Yeah, and you back down when you know your comments were unwarranted.

As I said before, I accept your apology.

You do not need to post any more, as your inability to address your comments has been proof enough.

"You are funny?"

Thanks,
Nut

Look Moon,

I was seeking to be helpful to the OP when I posted. I did not address you when I posted to the OP. You replied to my comments to the OP, and stated "I know you're playing devil's advocate."

Well, I was not playing devil's anything, as you know nothing about me.

Quote:
If you've never been screwed around by a bad director in Korea, then that's great -- but that doesn't mean that no one else has
.

Where did I say that people had never been "screwed" over? I did not.

You claim in a PM that I am being immature, but you are the one that labeled me an "apologist" when nothing could be further from the truth. Again, I never said there have not been legitimate complaints here, but the OP's was not one of them (on his own, he admitted that it was just a rant).

Quote:
There are excellent directors and there are also directors like this guy's boss.

Not sure how that was supposed to advance the discussion, as his boss is on the level.

I asked you pointed questions and you have ignored them.

Again,

1) How has "wrong" been screwed over by his employer?

His employer was nice enough to come over to the apartment to see that the toilet was getting fixed properly by the repair guy. He helped him at the bank. He bought him a new washing maching. He came in to check on him during his class time, as he cares about his school.

2) Is pretending it is all the boss's fault going to help this guy?

3) You claim that I was reading something into a the OP's post, yet you were the one to claim his boss was being critical by stating, "please room keep clean."

How was that supposed to be helpful?

4) If you believe that "the person who knows the director probably knows if he's dealing with a jerk or not," why did you add fuel to his rant by chiming in with your personal history?

"Yeah, I yell at drivers, too!" Wow, that's helpful stuff!

You claim you do not want to lock horns, yet you belittle the contribution that I was seeking to make to this thread.

Moon, if you want to address the OP, address the OP. If you want to refute something that has been presented, then do so. Dancing around, stating "I shouldn't have commented," "whatever," "you're too funny," but "I do not want to fight" is...misleading at best.

The end?
Nut

casey's moon: My advice would be to never reply to a pecan post. Know what I'm sayin'?

Yes, I have finally been understood!

My advice was free. If you do not like it, give your own.

No need to try and bend my words, when you have the ability to create your own point of view.

Let the OP decide.

No need to get personal, when we all have our own ideas.

Still no answer, but plenty of words.

It certainly would not appear as though you are done, as you continue...

I am not sure what your deal is. You apologize to me in a PM, but continue to post in this thread.

You want me to PM you, but I have nothing to say to you.

We are not going to change each other, but if you want to take this to one hundred pages...respond again.

I'm sorry if you are unhappy in Korea.
I'm sorry if you can't take care of yourself.
I'm sorry if you don't have a good relationship with your boss.
I hope things get better for you.
