i've gone on several trips with adventure korea. i definitely think they offer a worthwhile service to foreigners. but, not all the trips are worth it. some of the trips, for example, to soraksan, are easy enough for even a newbie to do by oneself, and for cheaper.
but, once in a while, they go to lesser known places that a foreigner would not necessarily hear about....those are good trips.
also, i'll warn against trips that they leave at midnight and travel through the night to get to the destination. it's not easy to sleep on the bus (especially when other travelers are more interested in drinking) and hiking a mountain at 5:30am on no sleep.
saying that, this year i've gone with them to daedun mountain (awesome trip), rafting, and to the mud festival. all very good trips and worth the money. |

I went on 2 trips with them, and both were enjoyable and worth the money.
I went to Mai-san (Horse Ear Mountain) in Jeolla-do, and on a rafting trip at Hantang-gang. |
