I really cannot believe it.It seems like every other poster has a Korean wife or a girlfriend. Is this the reason you came to Korea-to get lucky? Couldn't you have gotten that at Single's night in your hometown?
I thought the original intention was to work, save money and go home. Now, I hear all these people proclaiming how much they love Corea because their Corean girlfriend is hot in bed?Really,this is a slap in the face to all that is Holy in Korea.I'm not surprised why Korean men ,seeing slobby,pony tailed ruffians dating their women, get angry. Do these kind Korean women know of all the filth,drugs and craziness that went on in your country?I think not!I really pity these types that prey on the unsuspecting.
If you wish to defile and degrade females ,please do it in your own country!
No doubt,people will write in saying"It's not like that at all-it's true love!".Yeah right.and I have some Florida swampland you may be interested in....... |

"holy in Korea"?
"Korean men....their women"?
"prey on the unsuspecting"?
Your post smacks of colonialism, paternalism, and sexism.
And just because you're here to suck a few thousand out of the economy and run, doesn't mean we're all as mercenary as you (though some of us might be).
Maybe you should think about glass houses....
Finally, your post suggests an extremely negative view of sex.
Me, (with apologies to Steve Martin, but not to the OP) I want to take the time to get to know a person, talk to them, learn about their interests before I defile and degrade them. |

What's the matter Karl, can't get a girlfriend? This is probably one of the most negative posts I've read on this forum. For you to have the audacity to offer such a broad generalisation as to why men come here to find a girlfriend/wife is unfair to say the least. To also state that "It seems like every other poster has a Korean wife or a girlfriend." 50% of posters on Dave's are engaged in some form of relatonship with a Korean man or woman. Wow! Isn't that great. Love is where you find it, whether here or at home. For those that have found that person, good on you.  |

My point is,you're not here to score with chicks.You're here to teach English.I really feel sorry for these poor girls who really don't know what kind of skirt chasing Lothario they're getting tangled up with.
Love is fine! I appreciate a good roll in the hay as much as the next guy,but not when I'm paid to do a job.
I had a girl from Korea tell me that the ugliest, foreign,Ernest Borgnine looking guys in Korea always manage to get nice girls.Whereas in their own country,they couldn't get chick if their life depended on it.
Do these poor Korean girls know why you're really here?I dare you to tell them the truth!
If anyone is offended,I'm sorry the truth hurts...... Do not pretend you love Korea because of the babes.
Yes,I have a white girlfriend back home and she is,and will remain, my princess.I came here to work,not to play around!
Now everybody,get out of bed and back to teaching! "I love Korea!" Yeaaah right! |

Bite me five ways to Sunday. Maybe the under 50s back home all sucked at the teat of Tony Robbins style feel good ideology of loving yourself and looking for 'deeply satisfying' experiences in life but it's bullshit.
There's nothing wrong with coming to Korea to make money or *beep* chicks or teach a la Mr. Keats or whatever else (legal) that you want to do -- different strokes for different folks. |
