So, I have been here for a year, and I want to learn Korean. I have tried self study with a workbook, but that hasn't worked too well for me. I can read (slowly) and I can bust out a word or phrase now and then, but that isn't good enough for me.
I just moved from Bundang to Gaepo-dong, so I figure there are lots of options for me. I have been looking at old postings and websites, but does anyone have concrete experience with one or more of the institutes? I am looking at a five day a week, two hour a day program. Any suggestions? |

Well, by chance this eveing I was in the Platinum bar (20 metres east of exit 8 Kangnam station) and in that very building is a Berlitz: they do lessons for sure.
(BTW, for those who may not know, "Platinum" is a micro-brewery. Every beer I tried was excellent and prices are reasonable) |
