My homepage is set to yahoo & the last couple days its been slow to open & once it does open I get 'cannot be displayed' for any click from there including sign-in, mail, news, etc. My computer is otherwise operating normally & fast at all other sites. I had no problem using yahoo from my computer at work this afternoon.
Any idea why my home unit might have this selective problem?
Edit: maybe I didnt explain myself clearly above. My computer & internet connection seem fine (I'm using it to post this now). But I seem to be denied access to yahoo, even though I can access it no problem from other computers. It seems clear its not yahoo's problem. Weird.
I know I have a couple new emails I'd like to check & I'd really like to not have to go to a pc-bang to do so! Any work-arounds or advice from the gurus would be mucho appreciated! |

Have you tried scanning for adware using Ad-Aware or Spybot? |

Yep, all that. I was able to open my mail tonight so maybe in fact it was a temporary problem from yahoo itself that a different server from work wasnt subject to. Hope so. In the big scheme of things I guess it was a trifling problem, but annoying nonetheless! Thanks for responding. |
