If you're doing it without a car, you could try a sling instead of a pram/stroller.
Our baby is 5 weeks old now and we carry him snug in a 'new native' or 'hug-a-bub' sling. He is away from grabbing hands and we don't need to deal with wheels on stairs.
I have a friend who has a sign on her stroller saying "Don't touch the baby". A sling does away with needing that.
We have a Hyundae something or other, normal sedan-sized car, it was 400,000 second hand.
Here he is in his hugabub with his head peeking out for the photo. Normally you can keep them completely covered.
good luck. |
