It sounds like a number of posters on this board could be deported for what they write.

Seriously, it will have nothing to do with English teachers. It is for those helping the migrant workers.

Who interprets and enforces those rules? Local officials? National courts? Police?

The justice ministry shall regard the following as anti-Korean activities: denying the Korean system (i.e. government) or policies, or stressing the negative aspects of Korea; terrorism conspiracies or threats; leading or inciting demonstrations against national policies; and criticizing government measures while making political claims, and propagating those claims.

kangnamdragon,
Right.
Why not try it as an employer? It might save some money.

I believe theres a stipulation on an E2 visa that you cannot involve yourself with Korean politics. I'm afraid I've overstepped that line a few times with adult classes.

Sounds quite like Stalinism to me actually. An already backwards country going backwards, what a shame.

In Mexico visas specifically forbid foreigners from getting involved in politics, but unless you start appearing on television waving your machete like the Eurotrash and some Canadians like to do you are pretty safe. I would guess it will be the same here.

Also large financial donations to secret political party bank accounts seem to be exempt from these laws, too.
