I was in Kyobo today just passing through on the way to somewhere else and I saw the little software corner. Had a look there for Sims2 and all I could see was a similar coloured box with Sims Collector's Edition 2 - not the same I guess. Graphics looked different on the box and it was only 2man or so...

Was I wise or is that it? What price did you guys pay? I may well head to Yongsan on Weds morning for it...

I paid 41,000 for the deluxe edition which includes a clock that does not work. The regular one is 36,000. The box says "The Sims 2" It is a blue box and has many people on it.

Yeah... My garden is getting ok. You gotta keep it trimmed for the environment sake.

My house is going along pretty good. Although, they've got a toddler now and that is a headache.

Just remember to keep on top of things. The hardest part about learning this game is just to do a little bit, everyday. Just like in real life. Otherwise, the kids die of malnutrition, the wife leaves and the garden turns into a jungle.

My garden is immaculate but they still hate it.

I had too many kids so I killed one. I just locked her in her room and removed the door.

I am an old man now. Will I die of old age?

Well I wouldn't do it in real life, but it is hard to control 2 teenagers of the same age. My wife is getting fat. I would kill her, but I need her to cook my dinner when I am busy being a doctor. Laughing One of my characters just became a teenager so I paused the aging and will keep him that age for awhile. The problem is his father worked very hard to get a buff body and now he got old and lost a lot of his strength.

No one has died of old age yet, but I am not sure if that happens.

No luck on the garden yet. I have no weeds. I have tried many kinds of flowers, gnomes, flamingos, outside art, lighting, etc. They still are not happy. Maybe my family just does not like being outside.

After I master the game, I am thinking of reinstalling it in Korean to practice my language skills.

There are cheat codes. To enter a cheat code hit: CTRL+SHIFT+C at the same time. In the white box type a code then hit return.

aging off turns off aging, but turn it back on (aging on) or your babies will never get older

motherlode gives you 50,000 simoleons
moveobjects on alllows you to move things around when you are in "buy mode" including deleting weeds and removing naked people from showers

exit exits the white box if you get stuck in there

Can you kill orcs in Sims2?
Can you upgrade to plasma guns for your sargeants?
No?
Ha!
I'm totally addicted to Warhammer 40K.
It's the greatest RTF since Starcraft.
If you haven't heard of it, that's okay; in 4-5 months you won't be able to escape it when you go to a pc bang... Twisted Evil

Since I have killed my daughter, her ghost has been haunting my home, but she does not cause too much damage. My son actually likes seeing her again. At least I don't have to feed her. Wink
