thanks for the help. They continue to tell me that what is going on is not illegal because if it were than the hagwon director would face fines of 20 million. I don't believe them. Yesterday I made my complaints known to the recruiter and director and now I have until Friday for my next meeting. I told them that I will not be going to a fourth school and that three is already too much etc. I also told them that I am underpaid for the amount of work that they expect in which they replied "but the contract says 30 hours" and "you really arent' working that many hours" at this I basically told them to stick it because 30 hours relates to a hagwon contract that is 30 hours at one place of work with block shifts.
They're still trying to talk me into working two classes three times a week at another school. I asked my co-teacher about this and she said the school isn't even in Suwon but in another city!!! It will take me an hour to hour and a half to get back by bus from this school to my home.
Now I have til Friday to prepare for the next meeting.... |
