So I went to Yongsan today and saw that the new mall is fianally open. It looks pretty nice. Since today is the grand opening there were loads of demo girls and guys everywhere. It was like a carnival. I didn't have much time to look around so I was wondering if anyone else has been there. Mainly I want to know if there is an Apple store there.

I went there today. Space is very empty and so is Space 9. The fashion mall side hasn't opened yet. The electronics side has about only 10% of the floor space occupied. It looks like it will be a combination Technomart/Dongdaemoon fashion towers combined when it really gets cooking. A neat space. Come back in three months, though.

gold class back in australia is a premium cinema experience...
you pay two or three times the regular price... there are about 25 reclining seats in the cinema... you can drink and be served food too.

Not sure how it will work here though. If anyone has been to gold class here... fill us in

Ah yes. They had that in Canada too. I'm surprised they call it something so straight forward in Australia and not give it one of those cute Australian neologisms like chazwozer or macky toodles.

"Tup tup Shelia! The flicky is toffle boggled, nary a bum chum free! What say-a-diddle we snatchy ourselves a pair of tick-a-roos for the spanky chazwozer flicky? Capital sparks? Anzac! Gainsay who dare!"

I prefer the beer theaters in Portland. Tickets are like three bucks and you can drink pitchers of good microbrew and eat pizza. There's nothing like catching a re-showing of Mad Max or some other second run movie while getting absolutely shit faced...and driving home, slaloming between the other cars.

Portland, OR? Those people in Portland, OR are serious about their movies. Not like us herd animals in Seattle. A couple years ago a movie theater chain was running this totally long and lame "don't smoke or talk in the theater and turn off your cell phones, ya tards" PSA. It had this little girl who talked with the voice of Jack Palance. You know it was cute once. Once. But if you liked to see a movie once a week, it was so long and slow and dull that it was torture to sit through. Of course Seattle people just sat there. Suffering. Portlanders didn't take no crap. They started hurling their Cokes at the screen and howling. The theater chain quickly removed the offending PSA. God bless Portland.
