|
Ever siince high school, I've enjoyed shopping for clothes in small boutiques that carried vintage, 2nd hand or overstocked merchandise from retailers. Frenchy's, Value Village, Sally Ann... Well today I found an awesome place in Yongin!
There's a store right at the corner where the buses turn left and head up the mile long run and into the HUFS Yongin campus. Instead of turning left~ keep going another 300 meters. There's a store on your left hand side that is really awesome! I picked up a nice pair of jeans for only 5,000 won~ brand new!!
Check it out! Any other places you like to shop at?
Cheers!

Dongdaemun market between 1-4 a.m. Great bargains and really funky clientele: lots of cutting edge Koreans, but many Japanese, Taiwanese fashion tourists too. More piercings and tattoos per square mile than anywhere in Korea.
I know a woman who runs a successful business shopping there and then reselling on the 'Net.
In 2002, I bought a deep blue, mock velour (soooooooooooooooo soft) turtleneck there for 7000 won. And i wasn't trying that hard. |

so between 1-4 it's just second hand stuff? Where is all this stuff in relation to, say the baseball stadium? |

Nononononono--not second-hand. Just dirt cheap. The tourist info centre built into the outer wall of Dongdaemun stadium has great maps and better staff. They can find anything for you. |
