webpages up-to-date) more than Korean banks.

Time that could be better spent learning Korean or banking in Mongolia.

But I wonder about the significance of "less economically developed countries". Are these certain countries the banks of which should have an obligation to maintain English-language webpages?

I would say that a bank like Washington Mutual, which undoubtedly has more Korean-speaking customers than a Korean bank has English-speaking customers, should rather make some effort to put up a multi-lingual wepage. Regardless of the fact that it is located in "more economically developed country".
