You should always demand a pay stub.

If the school is paying your bills you should always demand a paystub. It is a record that shows they have been deducting the proper amounts and if you dont have these they can screw you around later on.

Point in case: at my last hogwan from hell job I got paystubs. At the end of my contract they decided to withhold 640,000 won for their bullcrap reasons. When I asked for the money, they said A: we dont have to pay it! B: you didnt pay your bills, you owe us over 240,000won.

I said thats nice but I have deductions on my paystubs for the supposed 240,000 won over the last several months. I pointed out to them the labour laws which they had violated and told them I would go to the labour board if they did not cough up the money. They threatened me with deportation Laughing

Point is if I hadnt recieved and kept my paystubs I would not have any support for my claim to the labour board. As I do have the paystubs I have proof that they violated my contract and the labour laws.
