sure, no problem - if you want a wide selection go to Chungmuro Station (湫ο) and ask to find the kangaji gil (puppy street) ( ).

anyone see any sturdy dog toys like the kong?

my jindo pup goes through a toy every other day. she destroyed a mini basketball in under 2 minutes flat.

either that or buy a new pair of shoes every week.

I think so, in 湫Chungmuro, in one of the big pet shops --not selling pets, just pet supplies. If you have good communication skills, even if you can't speak Korean, you can probably explain what you want/need to the salesperson. Some of them actually have a clue (lots of them don't.)

Edited to add: Chungmuro Station is on line #2 and 4 (orange and light blue).

I could send you some, you pay cost + shipping. I was in Korea from 95-98 and back then I don't remember there being that many pet stores.

Back to the dogfood question:

I have two somewhat contradictory observations, then a dogfood to recommend: Of course what they eat affects their health; what I eat affects how I feel, too. Now some of you may feel differently, but not all of our bodies are the same; some are stronger, some are prone to allergies; some are dealing with undiscovered food allergies. Many dogs will do well on anything; some dogs don't.

Dogs were meant to eat meat; that's why they do so well on the raw meat diets.

I got my dog nine years ago in China from a really strange place, the equivalent of a doggie-zoo. He was gorgeous, super-silky hair (my avatar's not my dog, I have a large, red English Cocker Spaniel.) (Oh, that's a riot. The swear filter bleeped part of the breed name!) He was on a diet that most Chinese who live in the countryside feed their dogs: Corn meal mush, cooked carrots, and a tiny bit of meat. He was young and did fine. I tried to keep cooking for him, but didn't have time, switched to cheap old Pedigree dogfood. He did okay on that for a couple years, then he didn't, started to vomit a lot.

One of my friends had a German shepherd with very serious food allergies; she used to cook rice, mix in cooked carrots and celery, and boiled chicken breast for the dog. Instant health.

I did it for six months; Tucker's bad breath went to sweet breath, and his coat looked nicer again. Then I ran out of time again. The same friend did some research on which brand of dogfood contained the most meat, and came up with Nutromax. I've been feeding this to Tucker ever since, and he does very well on it. You can get it at most dog supply stores or veternarians here. Yes, it is more expensive because it has more meat, but with the price of meat here, I can't afford to feed Tucker raw or cooked meat. Anyway, he's worth it; he's the best dog on this planet. Honest! Laughing

Addendum: The dogfood I recommend is called Nutromax Choice; at least that's what it used to be called in the States. Here it's called Nutro Choice, and the Konglishization is of the word "Choice." ̽

its on the 4th floor next to sunae station.
near pagoda and mackeys, big green sign cant miss it.

it was 6,000 for instant ice coffee,

your pet can do their business on the floor, you can sit, watch and drink your coffee while the staff cleans it up. Very Happy
