Wow, you have bad luck with Kiwi's buddy. I still suggest you give him and old fashioned beat down.

I once checked out some early court records from Australia, where you could see what some of the early cons were being sent over for. Bestiality came up more than once, true dinks ... Wink

Sometimes, I think that I should have been charged with bestiality after a hard night drinking.

If you'll note the time, you'll see it took all of 4 minutes.

you can tell the cops as you are doing.. and maybe get some compensation...

trying to take hiim out might only make the matter worse..

so a guy punches another guy becuase he wants to go to ITAEWON..???
ummmm and you guys dont even know each other...
you sure tyou were not all drunk and names were being called??

I wouldn't be so quick to rubbish someones story when they've been hit. I must admit it doesn't sound very common at all. Usually guys fight over girls, or trying to be the dominant male of a bar/area, or just about pure pride and macho aggression. But decking someone cause they wouldn't go to a nauraebang sound really really wierd. My only guess is that this guy was in the depths of culture shock, and had a lot of pent up frustrations boiling over. He sounds very unstable ...

you're right about bar fights.. every guy wants to be the dominant male when there's women around, causes no end of trouble. The reason being that the women always go for the alpha male guy...no different to baboons..
As for the incident, I think a lot of newbies continue the same behavior they have at home when they get here, it takes a while for them to realise its a bit different here. A simple punch in the west is fairly unlikely to attract a court battle and compensation issues, like here.

In Korea, if said Kiwi doesn't want charges pressed, the cops can suggest something called 'Habi' where the guy gives a sum (for this case, no lost teeth etc. it wouldn't be much, maybe 100,000 tops). But I'd say your friend should just take it on advisment that there are a lot of people who cannot control themselves after drinking.
