So--any ideas on the locations of those two photos from 1972? I thought maybe the church in the bottom photo would still be around...

The culture here, such as it is, will soon exist only as a museum-culture: Potemkin 'Folk-Villages' surrounded by faceless, colorless grain-elevator high rise apartments. The headlong plunge here toward prosperity has obliterated much of what Korean civilization has contributed to the planet: unfortunately, the remnants seem to be bad manners and bad architecture.
