See, the thing is, none of us are thirteen years old around here. The average thirteen year old might also want to drive, might even enjoy driving, if they were given the opportunity to do so, but society doesn't allow it because the average thirteen year old generally isn't mature or responsible enough to deal with the consequences of their actions. The same logic applies to drinking alcohol, voting and joining the armed forces.

I'm not sure why you think that comparing the behavior of a group of adults to that of a group of very young teens is such a devastating logic. Maturity counts for a lot in these situation, and that's sometihng that the average poster here would have, and the average 13 year old wouldn't .

I would say this is quite charitable of you re: the average poster here.

if you want to believe that casual sex is fine, then go for it.
as i said before, having sex with someone you have known for 5min is just skanky and whorish.

Why? Just cause you don't partake in stuff that has no impact on your life and doesn't break any laws doesn't give you the right to pass judgement.
I don't call you frigid because you don't have sex.

obviously i can't get anywhere in an arguement with someone who talks about how great smoking weed is Rolling Eyes
just like telling smokers that they can get lung cancer and die is not going to stop them from giving me the arguement that it 'feels good'.

I don't smoke.

again, i can find people that are older than me, that have been involved in sexual relationships that would find this type of behavior appaulling.

That's a seperate issue. That's underage sex. Once the teens are the age of consent then they can do what ever they damn well want. It's their bodies and who or who they don't sleep with is really none of your business and you have no right to pass judgement on them.

No I don't see anyone here advocating sleeping with multiple partners without protection, quite the opposite actually.

Didn't Britney Spears make a big deal about staying a virgin until getting married (and remarried and remarried Laughing )
Will lil mixed girl pull a britney. I don't doubt she is a lot smarter than the britster and may well keep her 'vow'. Whatever, good luck and stick to you guns. If you don't want to be shagging don't let anyone make you think it's a bad thing.
On quick review this post was about as coherent as one of mysterious delta rays Smile

It's not really about the other girls protecting the girl from your evil advances. It's just about how it looks to outsiders. If she goes alone with you on the first date, it looks a bit loose to some people.

I'd cut and run. You're talking about the conservative end of the spectrum. Could be months before you get nooky, if ever ...

2 options

1) Just say "threesome?"

2)It's also an ego trip to point to the chaperone and say to your date that if you lose the fatty, you'll go out with her-even if she's slim.

Number 2 is so much more gratifying

Actually, the hottest Korean woman that's ever been into me was like that. And I mean she was smokin'. 27, business suits, stunningly beautiful, and yes, stacked. Just basically a goddess. We really hit it off on the first two coffee dates. Just talked for hours with lots of intense but unforced gazing deep into each others eyes. It was, subltely, incredible sexy. She was as keen as me to go forward, if not more actually. Then she dropped the bombshell. She said up front, "But we wont' sleep together for 6 months". You know what I said? Hotness and all? Perfect body? Seductive manner? Exquisite clothes? Totally sophisticated? Well? You wanna know what I said?

"Gotta go, see ya!" ...

I admire you for that, but for posture's sake, I would have said nothing, because I know it would not have occurred to me to say the following at that moment. By the next coffee date, I'm sure I would have thought of, and said the following

"Let's make it an even ten".

And as noted by another poster, promiscuous people are much more likely to use contraception and be knowledgable about std's and safe sex practices.

Do you have any statistics to back up this claim?

Quote:
In fact, scientific studies have shown that people who have more sex live longer and have a higher happines index.

Correlation does not equal causation. All that these studies have noted has been that people who are healthier and happier tend to have more sex, not that having sex leads to people having healthier and happier lives.

You come in when this thread is just about over, we're down to jokes now, and soon it will splutter out. You pick out a couple of points that you feel could be potentially worked up into a little scrap that might be stimulating for you. But those points are not the thrust of this thread, they're incidental. The thrust of the thread was sex before marriage or not, and more specifically, LMG has her beliefs, but should she be using derogatory terms to put down those who make different choices.

Yet again you've chosen to ignore the main point of a debate, and focus in microscopically on a couple of side issues. It's clear, as it always has been, that you intend to contribute nothing to the discussion, and only become interested in a thread where you see a chance to come and do your Gord thing with some unimportant factual points. It's a sad little world you live in boy ...

Everyone has an opinion. You do, I do, everyone does. Some of them are even informed opinions. All I did was call you on your fictitious facts up that you were using to support your opinion. If you don't want me calling you on your use of ficitious facts, simply don't use them.

My response to your post is the same as my last post. You're not interested in the debate, you're just here to get your jollies in your usual manner. I'm not interested in helping you get your jollies.
