I always thought you looked like Jesus, but that's just cuz I imagine everyone looking like their avatar.
So, since you seem interested in the Middle East, I'll give you 3 guesses of who my avatar is. |

Um...Jesus of Britannica?
I'm interested in just about everything, though I have more of a desire to see central Asia than the Middle East. There's something about that place, the fact that it used to be the silk road, and the USSR, pretty much ignored by all of the press and really wide open. Uzbekistan would be interesting. |

That was a good one.
Since you weren't even close with that guess I'll give you some hints.
He's not Arab, Hebrew, or Christian.
He lived before Christ.
He spoke an Indo-European language.
Nietzsche used him as a character in one of his most famous works.

Is it Zarathustra? Founder of Zoroastrism.
As in Thus Spoke Zarathustra...
When he comes across three kings on the road and a donkey and says...
"I see three Kings but only one ass."
Or something to that effect...
Been a while since I read it. |

Correct Peemil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The benevolent light of Ahura Mazda shines upon you.
He also served as Nietzsche's mouthpiece for the famous "God is dead" quote. But I doubt the real Zarathustra would have said that. |

I'm American and I've been published in Korean on a 2 week to once a month basis since 2002... no CIA offers yet. Of course I wasn't writing for a Seoul paper... |

I am seriously considering applying to one of those organizations in about five years or so. Korea has an intelligence service, as does Japan (I guess most countries do).
I suppose I'm interested in everything from the western tip of Europe, to northern Africa to the Middle East, and across all the way to Japan, plus Russia.
Places I'm not interested in for some reason include central Africa, South America, and perhaps places like Indonesia. I'm not really sure why not; perhaps it's just ignorance, or maybe it's because they're too hot and filled with weird bugs. I like places with a bit more darkness, fog, and melancholy. |
