I was being silly as the original poster didn't give us enough details to conclude why things stopped working and the advice of switching browsers wasn't going to solve the video problem or prevent the same browser crashes later. |

its a cpu problem..
check to see if your cpu is running at 100%..
do a crl - alt - delete
maybe you have a trojan which is taking up resouces..
becuase thereis no reason why a slow CPU will do this anyway..
I doubt you have a p1 or p2 so look into this.
do a online virus scan.. house calls is a good one..
then get spybot search and destroy
and adware and
avg virus which is free..
and then do all scans.. and reboot..
and try again..
try playing the files. in DVIX or windows 10 media..

Sorry, my bad!!
But you are right, changing browsers will not make a difference. |

eh. Switching browser solved the second problem and it wasn't intended as a fix for the video problem. Perhaps I should just PM you with my posts so you can vet them for me  |
