So at my school, the head teacher is this cold lady. She's around 30, speaks English very well, takes he rjob very seriously, and I think she's a good teacher.
I realized she is a strict christian. She lives her life that way, and plays christian tunes on the computer at work. She calls me a 'Sunday Christian'.
Somehow she got the idea that I am ٶ (player) and she constantly reminds me, and razzes me about it. She says how she wants to sit in my class so I don't badly influence her students.
I guess she is joking about that, but it's hard to tell with her cold exterior and casual way of saying things.
If all this is the case, then why do I find myself turned on by her, in some sick perverse way? |

SHe might be razzing you, but if she's not...
Ok, Bible lesson time, people..............
As a Christian, these types of Christian's tick me off.
* Ask her if she is content to alienate others living her life as a Pharisee?
* Ask her how much good she can do if she lives her life surrounded by only other Christians while putting down other's who aren't as "literal" as her.
I bet she's against drinking too... ok:
* Remind her that Christ's first miracle occurred at a party his mother was throwing. Remind her that Jesus' first miracle was turning the water into wine. If she says, "The wine Jesus made was non-alcoholic," then remind her that Jesus turned the water into wine, NOT Welches (grape juice). Remind her that, in the same Bible passage, the guests at the party were astonished and thrilled that Mary had "...saved the good wine for last." What does this tell us? It illustrates that there was DEFINATELY alcohol in the wine. Why? Because the best wine was traditionally served first, then when people got tanked, they were given the cheaper wine because they didn't notice or care.
* Jesus was an enjoyable individual that crowds followed. They weren't crowds of "perfect" people -- they were normal people who were fascinated because what he taught was a relief from what the Pharisees and Saducees.
Who were the Pharisees?
Literalist Jews who were so strict they counted and divided salt BY THE GRAIN to make sure the offered the right sacrifice to God. They also walked around with little boxes tied to their foreheads and wrists. In these boxes were verses from the Old Testament. They were there to show everyone that the OT word was on their mind at all times. They were touting how "holy" they were to the masses. They policed people and scoffed at others who weren't holy enough to follow the law of Moses.
Now, I ask you ... does this sound like your friend in any way? Granted, she's not that extreme, but she needs to read what I'm saying here.
By acting the way she does, your friend becomes a person unlike Jesus was. Jesus was someone people were interested in, and they wanted to know him. They invited him to parties, and they invited him to their homes.
People don't like people who call those of their own faith a "Sunday Christian."
Non-Christians HATE those kind of people even more, and it does more harm to the Christian faith than good. The absolute most #1 highest rule according to Christ was to love your God with all your heart and mind, etc... the second rule... love your neighbor.
She's only got it half right. You can't show love to those you separate yourself from because they are "not good enough" or "might cause me to stumble."
As a Christian male with a line of 42 family pastors on my mother's side of the family, I would like to ask her to get off of her holy high-horse and be a servant to others rather than a slave-driver.
I've seen enough of these types of people before, and I'm sick of it. If I end up following my family line and becoming a pastor in my old age (I haven't because I like women too much) then I'll be up there telling everyone why I'm not perfect, what I did "wrong" and how I'm just a normal person trying to be a better person.
I will NOT be telling people to hide in a hole and throw stones at anyone I deem "less holy."

Korean psycho Christian alert!
Korean psycho Christian alert!
Like the crazy bitch in the street one day who kept hassling me with the Church leafets. I brushed her off and kept walking.
Not to be ignored she just started following me.
When she grabbed me by the shoulder that is when I lost it.
"Right- I'm going to take that fucking pamphlet and stick it up your god forsaken hole! I'm not interested. Understand. I don't give a flying *beep*. Not about you or your fucking God. He's not real. He doesn't exist. So if you touch me ever again I am going to pick you up and throw you into traffic. Understand?"
That's when the screaming started as I walked away...
"You're going to hell! God is angry at you!"
I like making friends in Korea. |

my own personal problems with church people. They kept coming to my apartment twice a week to hammer on my door and give me pamphlets in Korean. Telling them I spoke only little Korean and did not understand did not work. Telling them NO! did not work. Telling them to eff off and leave me alone did not work. Answering the door naked as a jaybird now that worked Never knocked on my door again. |

Chick wants it doggy style from you.
I actually change my route to the subway on sunday just to avoid the churches. There is an assumption that white = christian. |

It's a pity that a lot of Christians don't get how "non-believers" minds work. Ordinary non-christians don't understand "REPENT YE SINNERS BECAUSE JESUS COMETH"! Ordinary non-christians understand practical usefulness. They understand "take out the garbage", "fix the broken toilet", "cook some steak and onions", etc.
When proselytizing Christians get in peoples faces and try to convert them with words, it more often then not turns people off Christianity more than they already were. I question the motives of these people. Are they doing it to save souls, or are they doing it to prove what great defenders of the faith they are?
You want to save souls? Don't just tell me something. Show me something. Through your ACTIONS, show me how it's made YOU a better person. |

I agree, she needs to get laid. And badly.
Actually I find our sparring matches quite entertaining. She's not sooooooooo attractive, but not bad. Just, maybe it's all in the chase. |
