For KT Megapass, there are different levels of service, right? I have Lite and I'm finding it too slow for my extensive downloading needs How much does it cost to go up to the next faster speed, and do you think it will be faster enough to make it worth the extra money? |

40,000 month for the next level, definitely worth it. I'm constantly downloading movies and tv shows and never have had a problem |

How fast are the downloads, comparatively speaking?
I am at the low level and regularly get downloads of around 200kb/s on Torrent. |

Any ideas how I would get signed up for the faster one? Do they have to come over or can they just change it on their end? Do I need a Korean speaking person to help me with this? Thanks |

Megapass has an english service. Dial 100 from your home phone and then 8 or 2 at the voice prompt. I forget now. The person I got spoke better english than most of the tech support people I've talked to in North America. |

What if I don't have a home phone, only a cell phone...? Do I need to dial something different? |

Probably 02-100. I think 02- is the land line code. |

try these 2 things first, please:
go here: http://www.dslreports.com/stest
Turn off ALL other internet programs (P2P, BT, instant messenger/chat progs, internet radio & close all other browser windows). Next, run a speedtest from any of the cali servers.
Look at your results - it will be the bars in red.
If you are not happy with the speeds, try going here:
http://www.speedguide.net/
look to the left; click on BROADBAND, then BROADBAND TOOLS, then ANALYZER.
You will go to a page that tells you info about your current computer settings. If they say there seem to be a lot of problems with the settings, then you can go to BROADBAND, BRAODBAND TOOLS, and DOWNLOADS.
From there, either download & use the TCP Optimize tool (at the top), or download & install a Registry Patch. I would also recommend scrolling down the page and installing the Fast Web Page Loading patch.
THIS MAY SOUND LIKE A PAIN, but it REALLY is NOT!!! a 5 minute job, at best.
Let us know how things work out for you!
