I always thought Panthermodern carried a bit more clout on the old board.

Panther, I think you deserve mad props, son.

I also used to like a guy called Frank Harshman.

Yes, I remember seeing panthermodern on the old board. Tiger beer, too. And I remember Kiss It, who archived some of the old useful stuff about schools and would post it when needed, just like Lost Seoul used to do on the new one. Wasn't Gord posting as Captain Obvious 2.0 back then?

Sad thing is I remember every person mentioned....sad, been here since 1997....I think they still lurk about (albeit sparingly) once in a blue moon to see 'what's up,' but not post. I know I just read the board for a few months (between bored bits), but never bothered to post....

This was back when I didn't really post (like I even post much now), but I actually sorta miss that "Maryk" guy... I don't really remember much about him, except that he was quite proficient at getting under the skin of the overly-defensive/America-bashing Canadians (I'm Canadian too, but hardly the righteous type).... I seem to remember he had the arrogant thing going on, but it was kinda funny...

There was also a guy a few years ago, and I'm gonna need someone to remember who it was... He was definitely labelled an apologist by many a poster- for basically any subject. He used what LOOKED like a real name for his handle... God, why can't I remember it??? Anyways, he wasn't ridiculous or anything, but you could always expect him to attempt to refute any kind of complaint about Korea, a whole bunch of other posters to call out "Apologist!" in unison, and hilarity to ensue... Usually entertaining. I've never seen him on this board- it was the old one before 2003.... I'd recognize the guy's name in a SECOND, if anyone would even care to take a guess.

Oh yeah, anyways, I never posted, but I still miss that guy.
