I want to buy a multi regional DVD player while I'm in Korea, but I want to be able to use it when I go home to England. Is this completely impossible, or will it need rewiring or something? I know nothing about electronics, other than Korean electrical stuff has two prongs on the plug, and in England we have three! |

You shouldn't have any problem so long as you have a plug converter for the 2-pronger to the 3-pronger. You might want to make sure you have the correct cables, component or s-video or whatever you get. Also, if your TV back in England is PAL, make sure your DVD player is PAL compatible. Most here are, I believe, NTSC. At least the DVDs are NTSC. I'm not sure if that'll be a problem on a PAL TV or not, but I wouldn't think so.
When in doubt, write the manufacturer and ask. And even if it doesn't work, you can find a DVD player here for under 100.000 won (50 quid) so it won't be a big deal if you have to get rid of it.
