Ping-pong rules.... It's a good date, actually, with the less princessy types. My girl and I went and played ping-pong on our first date, and it's a good ice breaker... Actually, she said something pretty funny...
One of my shots went slightly askew, and the ball basically hit her right, um...."there"...  Awkward silence follows, and she says in her reasonably-decent English (not realizing the alternate meaning) "I know you want to hit that!"
.... Loved her since!
(Oh yeah, and the paddles with all the foamrubber hanging off SUCK! Really, how much does it cost to buy a new freakin' paddle?? Get it together, takku bangs!) |

I disagree about ping-pong on a date though.
True story:
About 10 years ago I was at a summer resort in Florida with my family. I kept on seeing the same wood inspiring young lass wherever I went - pool, beach, game room, etc. I finally built up the courage to talk to her. I asked her to meet me later on at the bar. Even though we were both underage, we threw back our fair share of daquiries (ya i know).
We then decided to play some ping-pong...Of course like every game I play, i became very competitive; putting spins on the ball and delivering menacing overhand smashes. I was schooling this girl.
During our 2nd game when I was up 12-1 or something embarrasing like that, I went for a thunderous overhand smash. The sweat on my hand caused the paddle to fly out of my hand, rocket across the room and strike this poor girl right in the nose breaking it (her nose, not the paddle fortunately).
I had to take her up to her parents room, blood pouring out of her broken beak and explain to them what happened. Needless to say I never saw the girl again... 
Since then I haven't been able to pick-up a ping-pong paddle. |

Good game to have a few beers to.
Pick up the paddle and the beers are within easy reach.
Had some good games while on the sauce but usuallt degeneartes into shockingness by the end  |

Love this game.
Play chinese grip with a paddle with one rounded side of the handle sheared off.
The staff here are looking into getting a table for our common room.
Best times: playing cutthtroat (3 players, hit-and-run around the table) with my brothers, or playing dots (miss a point and the other guy gets to smash at your undefended naked torso) with the folks at Lake Louise Resort. |

I think it is a sport and a good one. UNLESS they are playing partners. A ping pong table is too small to have 2 on a side. One per side yes.

What about that stupid newish "sport" they have in the Olympics. I call it "Twirling a ribbon on a stick". But I am sure they have another name for it.
Now that is a big huge pile of something that the filter might change to a bleep, so I will not say it.

Rhythmic gymnastics? That's been around forever- I love all that stuff, the forced smile when they're fighting for breath, the total disregard for the music that's playing. Chemical Brothers had a wicked video to one of their tunes that featured gymnastics, I think Sophia Coppola directed it. |

| I've been playing some adjoshi's regularly for the last month. Now, I represented my provinice in table tennis as a youngster, and frankly, I'm pretty "nice". Well, several of these dudes could put so much spin on a serve that I was unable to get 4 out of 5 seves back over the net. And these dudes are just mucking around ... |
