I'm from Vancouver. I need to get home by Christmas.

I've been quoted W1,175,000 on Singapore and 1,375,000 on Air Canada.

I've called Freedom, Xanadu, Time Machine and O&J.

Anyone got any better ideas? I know it's getting late.

Any help appreciated.

Check with Kangsan Travel in Busan, very cheap and reputable. Northwest Airlines is usually very cheap as well....

I'm flying home around then too. It's high season and will be a little extra expensive. Also, many of the cheaper flights are all booked up Sad

I found one that is 784,000 plus tax, flies out on Christmas Day, so you'd get to Vancouver at 6:15 at night....everything is booked solid a week before Christmas. That one's on Eva Air, a Taiwanese airline.

I found another that is 950,000 plus tax, leaves on the 16th. It's a Chinese airline.

I think you better reserve something if you have to get home. You can always cancel a reservation, and it's better than not having a seat at all.

If you can read Korean, tourexpress.com has the absolute best prices I've ever found in Korean. We just got our tickets to Thailand for 375,000 (with tax). That's pretty darn good, considering every travel agent was quoting us at 550,000 or more!

Good luck on your travel plans,

www.tourexpress.com has flights return to Vancouver starting at 735 000. You'll need a Korean Credit Card to book the flights though and be able to navigate through a Korean site.
