| I think the flourescent tube and 10 month pregnancy things are two great examples of the way people put everything that's different over here down to 'those stupid Koreans and their stupid Korean ways'. |

A jamaican remedy I heard was to brush really strong white rum all over your face- when it evaporates, it really clears your pipes out.
Not a cure, but you feel loads better |

I think you'd find most cultures offer folk remedies for colds involving local spirits. Lightens your mood, might even lighten some of your symptoms (or at least you dont care so much) & helps kill the time while the virus runs its course.
Koreans would have you add red pepper powder to the soju too. Cheers! |

| By the way, dont sleep with your belly button exposed -- diseases can enter through there. |

An English remedy I heard was hot whisky then a good shag. Like you said, maybe not a cure, but you'll feel happy. |

| The water that forms in a mushroom cap on a Korean BBQ grill has all sorts of amazing health properties. |

Burnt meat (and pretty much anything burnt) is carcinogenic. I did a search on it a while back and found that it isn't just Korean thought -- there's science behind it. |
