Shhh, if you look very closely at the center of this picture you can see Bilbo and Frodo drinking beer and smoking pipeweed. |

Hm.... What to show, what to show..... AH! The most-oversized ugly mall in the world! w00t!
Not proud of this thing at all! Maybe I'll just pretend I'm from Vancouver? |

My S.O. is not Korean....British. So my list is a bit different -
- a real backyard BBQ (note that is the back YARD, not GARDEN!)
- non-smoking pubs and restaurants that still have business
- what I really mean by "small town"
- what I really mean by "sure, it's a big city"
- canoeing in Algonquin, hiking in Banff, sailing on Lake Ontario, camping in Gatineau, cottaging on the weekends
- French people/culture/food/wine CAN be really freaking cool!
- skiing at Bearstown Resort outside of Seoul is NOT really skiing...
- a White Christmas (and not one that he can put money on at the bookies)
- snowmobiling in the woods next to my parents house
- an NHL hockey game
- life can survive without Super Sunday Premiership Football
- a school playground where the little kids are not getting beat up by the bigger ones (hey - in MY hometown this still exists!)
AND --
-- THAT MANY BRITISH PEOPLE DOLIKE IT IN CANADA!!!
It's going to be a tough one because it looks like the first trip he will make will be in the spring....so the winter activities are out, so are the summer ones...it looks like the most exciting thing we can do is the Sugar Bush?
(hey -- add MAPLE SYRUP to that list!!!) |

Good luck with that, considering they're on strike right now. Even the All Star game has been cancelled. What's Saturday night in Canada without Hockey Night in Canada and Don Cherry? |

Chillin Villian,
Did you know they've got sea lions in the mall now? They've removed the dolphins, then had people doing stunt dives and stuff for lives shows, and now they've got a couple of sea lions.
Quite disgraceful, really. Apparently they have plans to add pandas and zebras and animals that really have no place in a mall. I have no idea where they're going to put them. |
