I read about some place that serves horse sashimi. That looked good.

You sure couldn't serve roo in North America. Kangaroos are cute, friendly creatures and not to be eaten. I believe in Australia they're kind of like pests that breed out of control.

Seriously, asking as a Canuck here...

Does kangaroo meat taste good? Is it normally sold in cans like spam, should I give it a try?

Spangaroo? Never seen the like. The best way to eat is out of an Aboriginal's sandy firepit. Singed and stinky and bloody and wrrrrrrriggling. Gollum'd love it. But seriously, a two inch thick piece of fillet seared for no more than three minutes a side on a very hot barbie plate provides by far the most sumptuous taste and texture. If it is cooked too long, it gets tough as old boots.

I think I'll stick with seal flipper pie. Laughing
