A couple of weeks ago I posted about a hogwon called New Elite in Ulsan that should be avoided by all. Please do not confuse this school with Elite Academy which is a reputable school.
On my last day there the boss, who doesn't speak english, told me that she would pay me the next day. She didn't two or three days later she paid me all but 100,000 or my final pay. My wife, korean, phoned here about it and messaged her about it numerous times, but my old boss refuses to pay. She also sent numerous rude text messages to my wife's hand phone.

she paid me a few days late and didn't pay the full amount. She left out 100000 won.

I had a few problems there. The school had a problem with mold but she never fixed it. The school leaked when it rained. She paid me late 3 times in total. She lied to me. Didn't live up to her word. etc.

You're griping about 100,000 won? Just be glad you are out of there and forget about it.

a hundred buck is a hundred bucks. The main point is that it's a crap place to work and he's giving a warning to others. The principle of not being paid fully is wrong and I don't blame him for griping.

My main gripe is not the fact she ripped me off a 100 grand. I had posted most of my gripes in another thread. The 100 grand is a new gripe. She should have paid me on time and in full. Instead of late and not in full. Also when we asked for the correct amount she started sending hateful messages to my wife's hand phone. Which is a bit more serious that 100 grand.

I am glad that I am out of there. I'm not likely to forget about it. I want people to know that they should avoid this place.
