| I buy a bag of dried chick peas at the S. Asian stores and make up a batch of hummus about twice a month. It's cheap and easy and tastes great at any time. |

i have two big jars of tahini that i bought in australia on my last visit there. but i don;t use them when i make hommus.
hommus is just mashed cooked chickpeas, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, salt and pepper.... a bit or paprika is good too if yu can get it.
i use the tahini to make baba ganoush

peppermint...
tahini is just mashed up sesame seeds. dump them in the blender. Or you can skip them and use a bit of sesame oil in the hummus.
hojucandy is right about the rest of the ingredients. However, try some coriander, cumin and/or dry mustard and a dash of cayenne for extra flavor. |

Me: instant coffee, any soft-drink with loads of caffein and about 10 tbsp of sugar per can, sandwiches with "mystery vegetables", and some of the cheapest cigarettes in the industrialised world. (But that's only when they're sold out of hummus, tahini & chick peas, of course.) |

my standard lunch is pretty much whatever veggies are at hand, and a tub of some sort of dip. Hummus, ranch dressing0\- whatever.
And back to munchies:
Late night at home- massive slice of doughy pizza to absorb whatever alcohol I drank and prevent hangovers(hey- it seemed to work)
Here- the yellow bags of popcorn. I love them, though they're not as good stove popped would be. |

So why not pop on the stove, pep'? I do often. In one of those tinny gold-coloured pots I picked up for....about zero won at dong bang mart.
At the Buy the Way (mine supercedes the LG25 across the street in everything except the LG's hottie cashiers), I like the jin bbang and the timtams. The ddang kong (peanuts wrapped in crispy rice) make a great breakfast cereal.
But when in rome, brother: why look any further than your local o-deng cart? O-deng, ho-tteok, ddok-bokk-i (if you like), and if you're lucky, steamed yams, as well! Other than the anticuchos in Trujillo, I haven't found yummier street food. |

yu can buy timtams?????!!!!! where???? i have run out!!! i get them in oz....
my typical purchase from the lg is samgak (triangular) kimbap. i like the chamjikimchi and the kochujang ones best. for a while yu could get boribap ones - they were good. |

i don't understand the hype surrounding hummus. Not a big fan of middle eastern food in general, but hummus is definitly near the bottom of the list of foods i'd eat from that part of the world.
babba ghanoush is a couple steps up in taste imo. |

theres a small taco/burrito stand at samsung plaza in Bundang.
a 1,000 won for a burrito/soft taco type thingy with rice, meat, veggies and taco sauce. |
