Heres an 'only in Korea' scenario. Korean mom (a colleague & friend) is concerned about her younger son's disinterest in drinking. He's about to enter university. She's urging me to teach him how to drink. 'Its important,' she insists.

We had a good laugh about opening up a 'drinking hagwon' for reluctant young'uns. Think it might fly?

I think you could open a hagwon for just about anything here and it will fly.

I might open a masturbating hagwon. Anyone want to be the head lecturer?

I think you are on to something here. Lots of absentee dads.

Offer courses in traditional Korean drinking customs. Proper places to puke. How to mix the best bombs. Drinking games. Impressive toasts. Groping the girls. Maps to the best red light districts.

Go for it!
