Many people have had a problem with the air ticket thing.
Someone wants documentation in a certain format and they don't get it...they start asking questions...
(and if that is there job to be quite honest then they SHOULD be raising a stink...but really someone should be coordinating the program better...)
But think about it...ever know a bureaucrat to do what makes sense...not unless what makes sense follows the work orders in front of them.
If you know anyone that is a travel agent (or get momma to ask one...) they can print a receipt for you...(heck you can print it yourself, but you will feel less nervous if it is from a travel agent...)
My GF had to get one that indicated Halifax--->Seoul and it was NP... |

I think the key here is "most" direct flight. Being from Wpg myself, I'm well aware that there isn't a direct flight from the Wpg to Icn. The "most" direct flight is the route that you took. I think the clause is stop someone from travelling around on their way to Korea, like Wpg to New York (stopoever) to London (stopover) to Bangkok (stopover) to Icn.
Of course, getting the bean-counters to understand that might be more difficult. Good luck and persevere!
It's interesting to note that EPIK's contract has the exact same clause (I suspect the contracts are identical), but your type of problem has not come up amongst EPIKers. |
