I've got the works: sore throat, fever, congestion, ear ache etc. and didn't find any Incheon doctors recommended in the FAQ. TIA. |

I had a similar problem over the summer and I found it very difficult to find even an English speaking doctor in Incheon. Your best bet is going to the foriegner hospital near Itaewon. |

I appreciate your suggestion. Today a Korean friend was kind enough to accompany me to an ENT doctor in Incheon. Fortunately, my friend was available and privacy wasn't an issue.
I'm probably searching for a phantom doctor that doesn't exist, but I find it hard to believe there isn't an English-speaking doctor somewhere in Incheon. It's a big town. |

Inha University Hospital - International Clinic: (032) 890-2455, 2240. They will answer the phone in English and help arrange an appointment. You may have to see a doctor in another part of the hospital but most will speak passable English. I was treated there last year for some pretty bad pneumonia. Everything seemed ok. Bring your Korean medical insurance card or it may cost you a fortune! |
