Employment Expected to Remain Flat in Q1 of 2005
South Korean companies believe that their employment growth will remain flat in the first quarter of next year, according to a survey released Thursday by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI).
The KCCI's survey of 1,330 manufacturers nationwide showed
an employment projection index (EPI) for the next three months was 100, indicating that the level of employment is expected to be the same as in the fourth quarter this year.
