Hello. I am a korean american planning to get into the field of teaching. I plan on going to seoul for a year or two after I graduate this December. I was born and raised in the states but I speak korean fluently. Is this going to lessen my chances of getting a job? I figure employers would want someone as "foreign" as possible. Should I just speak nothing but english at the interviews? Do you guys ever use any korean to your students when you're teaching? Oh and are there many jobs still available now? My family in korea are against me coming because they say theres a shortage of jobs.
Thank you very much in advance |
