Are you sure? A lot of these American guys who get forced into the army here had no idea that their names were registered here in Korea. When they were born (in America), their parents put their names on some registry here in Korea, to register them as officially recognized Koreans (they never knew about this). Even though they'd never been to Korea and did not have a Korean passport, the Korean government considered them to be citizens of Korea simply because their names were put on the registry at birth.
If I were you, I would ask your parents if they registered you when you were born, just to be sure. |

| J.B. is correct. Many did not know that they had Korean citizenship until they got here. |

Yeah mine too, but it has all been taken care of
My main concern is finding work. |

| If you come now, you can at least get a temp job during winter break, especially if you have an F4 visa. |
