the polyphonic whine is not cute. it's like nails on a chalkboard.

i've seen drowned kittens who looked less pathetic than someone whining into their cellphone on a kangnam sidewalk.

i don't like it when children do it... but they have an excuse. they're children.

Its cute. When she wearing an ultra short skirt and knee high boots....yeah, its cute.

is this a "awww... what a cute widdle girl" cute or a "damn, i'd like to throw a good, hard *beep* on that honey" cute?

if the latter, i'd have to put forth the theory that you have a fascination for really stupid shit.

Yeah like that's very important... The point of the link was: who's serving who?

Maybe, just MAYBE, they're doing it to get female voters to vote for them?

Sure. But do you think the pro-hoju politicians are doing it out of some grand moral principle?

And if there's enough female anti-hoju sentiment out there to sway all the major parties, doesn't that kinda put the kibosh on your claims to speak on behalf of "Koreans"?

Don't you think the hoju system was introduced out of some grand of moral principle? Or do you find it more moral that an American woman can divorce her husband for no reason, get half his assests and keep the children?

Do you even have a CLUE who introduced the system? The Japanese. Maybe their occupation of Korea was also out of some moral priciple? You have no basic knowledge of what you are talking about! You claim to be TENURED?!Smile

damn this thread is getting some traffic. which leads me to think of a quote from the song "the internet is gay" by A.C.

"you don't have any friends
you stay at home all day
you've been to every website
because you're fucking gay"

that says it about as clearly as anyone could. but then some of you are probably not at home, you're avoiding prep time... (i'm avoiding report cards).
