Haha sorry for doing this but I have the song in my head and I just have to know.
It's the song making the rounds on a couple of the TV stations... like on Break Music or playing during the credits of some shows.
It's a girl singing in the video... um there's an elevator... some guy with like 1/4 of an inch of hair on his head...
Sorry horrible description but you'll prolly know if you watch Korean TV and know Korean (which I don't and is the main reason why I dunno who it is or the song title).
And if you know where to get the song... ^^ |

Do you mean "Can't Get You Outta My Head" by Kylie Minogue?
If so, I guess it is appropriately titled |

| Is it a fluffy pop song, or is it a song made by a real band that sounds good? If it's the latter then I know the song, but I somehow doubt that song would be used in a commercial. |

Well, it's not on a commercial... it's the whole song. It's a pop song... sung pretty fast so it's hard to describe it as fluffy. *shrug* |

I know the song!
It was on m.net while I was in Lotteria the other day.
I was with my girlfriend and we discussed it, here's what I remember...
The video's pretty sexy (for Korea) and there's a lot of intimacy and skin shown by both the guy and the female singer.
There's even scenes where she's crouching over him in bed with him getting a nice view right up her loose red dress.
"She's not that pretty, but I think she has a really nice smile" is what my K-girl said of her.
Can't remember who it was, or how the tune went, so jurassic5 may well be spot on with that one. |

Are you thinking of that rather melodramatic love song by(if I recall) a singer named Maya? If so, it's lyrics are actually from a famous Korean poem. Somthing about "I love you so much that even if you leave me for someone else, I will throw flowers on your path as you go to her".
I'm told that the original poem was written by a man, and the love object was a woman. |

when i read the title of this thread i thought the OP was referring to the e-mart song, which is an adaptation of the the happy song from south pacific. (i would LOVE a copy of the emart song btw - anyone know where i can get one?)
i know very little about k-pop but know a few korean poems - including the one referred to by "on the other hand"
it is a beautiful poem by Ŵҿ (Kim So-weol) -

Azaleas
When you leave,
weary of me,
I'll bid you silent farewell.
An armful of azaleas
culled from the hill
I'll strew over your path.
Step after step,
on the flowers
Tread lightly, as you walk.
When you leave,
weary of me,
I'll not shed a drop of tear. |

(Chae-yeon) is who my girlfriend says it was.
Like I said, this is going solely on the description of the video, I don't know about the tune or lyrics.
In the video, the woman gets out of an elevator and there's a handsome Korean guy with a hell of a close-cut hairstyle. She walks away, but then jumps back onto him and the rest of the video is of the two being quite intimate and her wooing him on the bed.
Edit --> After so many different suggestions, you've got to let us know who's right! |
