As long back as I can remember they've been called juicy bars, but I've always preferred calling them petting zoos.

Tip- Walk into one at 4am and you bypass the juice and petting. Wink

I miss the good ol days on hooker hill..... about 4 years ago, when there were line ups to buy a kettle, line ups and cover to get into stompers... and dancing until sunrise. Those were fun times.

There is no story on hooker hill anymore. A bunch of washed up prossies and expats.

However... it does seem to get a lil rockin in Polly's after 2 am on saturday mornings.

But lets just take a moment to reflect..... Razz

My first two weeks in Korea were before 9/11, and Stomper was crazy. There were chicks dancing on tables, and people doing beer showers etc. After 9/11 the area was dead.

Here's a different version I did with just my voice. I lowered the bitrate to about AM radio quality so the whole file is maybe 150k or something. I can add it to the main page in my site and have it play automatically, but people might not like hearing that automatically:

Voice is not that clear, I'd go with the higher bit rate. General principle, always go with the highest resolution on anything audio, it's worth it ...

yeah, your voice much better than the generated voice, but might be handy to EQ out some bass at that bitrate to get a litte clearer if you're concerned about file size.

That's true, another way to get clarity is to eq out some lower frequencies, and also to limit and normalise the wave. Hey, you need a soundman??? Razz

Hooker hill is depressing.

The Itaewon area can be a wild, fun night sometimes but, otherwise, that whole area behind is dark and a little scary.

I know of the term "juicy bar," just didn't know it was common. The soldier explanation makes sense, though. I've only heard it coming from them and from women that hang out with soldiers.

I like "petty zoo" as well but prefer to refer to them as blowjob bars.

You know, not really spilling what really goes on in there but enough so you can figure it out.

All of the provider establishments (with the exception of of few like the Lucky Strike, Grand Ole Opry, Polly's) on the hill will be completely off-limits to USFK personnel starting either later this month or Feb.

Mongerers, it's buyer's market coming up.
