Could anybody please explain to me how I can get rid of those small setting arrows that appear when im word processing.I want to send a file via e-mail so i dont want to send them as well but i cant get rid of them...I'm sure theres a simple tip but i'm clueless!!!

You need to click on the Show/Hide Paragraph Marker button, like this:
If you don't see that button in yout bar, you can also go to
Tools>Preferences>View>Nonprinting Characters>All
and turn them all off!
Your menus may very by platform and version. |

10 out of 10 for OiGirl...
and to the OP, this means that even if you send it, the marks will only appear if they have the same settings you do. IOW, you could remove them and they might then see them in any case, if they have those settings enabled by default. Basically, don't worry about it too much in any case. |
